A PARTNERSHIP WITH DEEP IRISH ROOTS

We are thrilled to announce the collaboration between the Pittsburgh Steelers and The Dublin Liberties Distillery, home to the Dubliner Irish whiskey. A partnership forged from a shared connection of deep Irish roots, a thirst for glory and a commitment to excellence. The Pittsburgh Steelers organization is known as the best run football franchise in the NFL. This pursuit of superior leadership and outstanding quality, all whilst paying homage to the city of Pittsburgh and Steeler Nation, attracted The Dublin Liberties Distillery to teaming up with an organization that holds similar values.

400 YEARS OF INSPIRATION
The Dublin Liberties Distillery opened its doors for the first time in February 2019. A working distillery nestled in the heart of Dublin’s historic district of The Liberties, Ireland’s storied whiskey capital. The DLD’s whiskey collection is the culmination of inspiration of over 400 years of Irish history and distillation excellence, a true testament to The Distillery’s unwavering commitment to produce only the finest and most special Irish Whiskey in the world. Balancing a commitment to craft and tradition with new technologies and unexplored casks, the Dublin Liberties Distillery has been celebrated for developing some of the most innovative Irish whiskeys of the past decade.

LIMITED EDITION WHISKEY
This commitment to the highest standards in whiskey making along with the heritage and history of the historic Liberties district in Dublin pairs perfectly with the blue collar, gritty, and hard nosed standards of the city of Pittsburgh and all of Steeler Nation. To celebrate 90 years of Steelers Football, the partnership is delighted to launch a limited edition Dubliner Steelers Select Irish Whiskey to commemorate this amazing achievement.

AGE: 5 years

WOOD: Matured in ex – bourbon casks

ABV: 46% (non – chill-filtered)

WHAT TO EXPECT
This devilish blend of malt and grain whiskey is liquid gold. The nose is full of aromas of baked apples, fresh hay and warm brown sugar. Equally enticing on the palate, we have flavours of toffee apples, cider and caramel. A fiendish finish full of gentle nutmeg, cinnamon spice & lingering sweetness.

The Dead Rabbit Irish Whiskey is a super premium Irish Whiskey that aims to capture all the edge and attitude of the legendary Irish emigrant Dead Rabbit NYC Gang and the award-winning Irish bar of the same name, located in downtown Manhattan, New York City. It is a five-year old blend featuring Irish malt and grain whiskey, finished in virgin American oak for 5 years and crafted by Master Distiller, Darryl McNally, in collaboration with Jack McGarry and Sean Muldoon, the founders of the award-winning New York bar, The Dead Rabbit Grocery & Grog, which has topped the list of the World’s 50 Best Bars numerous times.

AGE: 10 years

WOOD: Matured in ex – bourbon casks | Finished in ex – Oloroso Sherry Casks

ABV: 46% (non – chill filtered)

WHAT TO EXPECT
Enticing on the nose, the liquid abounds with sweet aromas of delicate honey, floral notes of apple blossom and some dried red fruits.
The casks were aging Oloroso sherry for over 30 years, which is evidenced by the rich palate of deep fruit notes of baked plums, ripe red grapes and serves to give the liquid its deep amber hue. This luscious drop has a long lingering finish of rich, dark chocolate.
