Myers’s Platinum White Rum is made from Jamaican sugarcane that is cooked into molasses. Then, the molasses is fermented and distilled using both continuous and pot still distillation. It is then aged in white oak barrels, carefully blended, and filtered to remove color and smoothen taste.

American Harvest Vodka is distilled from Organic winter wheat grown on an American family farm in Rigby, Idaho. Winter wheat is wheat that is planted from September to December and harvested in Early July. The organic and regenerative approaches to agriculture focus our farmers make ensure our wheat is grown in healthy soil with minerals, organic matter, water, air, and microorganisms; the key in having a sustainable amount of nutrients for our product to grow. Also made with water gathered from deep beneath the Snake River plain in the American West, American Harvest Organic Vodka is column-stilled, with pure and quality ingredients from the beginning.

Provenance

At Tequileña in the eponymous town of Tequila, Jalisco, home to a range of celebrated tequilas, Master Distiller Enrique Fonseca distills agave predominantly grown in and around his highland hometown of Atotonilco el Alto. For this añejo expression, Enrique ages select tequilas initially in used Cabernet Franc wine barrels from the Loire Valley of France for a minimum of 14 months. The tequila is then extracted from the French oak and laid into toasted American white oak previously used to age either Canadian whiskey or Tennessee rye whiskey, for a minimum of 14 additional months, for a truly masterful balance of oak and agave flavors.

Tasting Notes

Color: rich amber

Nose: butterscotch, citrus, baking spices, vanilla

Palate: toffee, walnut candy, custard, orange zest, dark chocolate

Maker Notes

Spicy vanilla fruit, ripe apples and a rich, luxurious mouthfeel. This is the result of 18 long years and a generous proportion of first-fill sherry casks. And of the patience we take over the slowest distillation in Scotland.

TASTING NOTES

COLOUR: Medium gold with a rich glow.

NOSE: Awash with red apple, ripe melon and fresh banana. Heavenly and well rounded, it drifts into hot porridge topped with brown sugar.

PALATE: Full bodied, round and rich. At first macerated fruits, marzipan and walnuts; then warm spices, dry cocoa and lingering Seville marmalade.

123 Organic Tequila Extra Anejo “Diablito Rojo” is handcrafted from sustainably cultivated single estate-grown 100% organic blue agave flourishing in 6,000 ft. in mineral-rich red volcanic soils. After aging in French white oak Limousine barrels for no less than seven years, it is masterfully finished with an additional six months in French Limousine oak barrels that previously held one of Napa Valley’s premiere California Cabernet Sauvignon wines.

This exquisite aging regime heightens the rich spicy flavors of our “Diablito Rojo” with incredible secondary and tertiary notes of ultra-premium Cabernet Sauvignon, producing a uniquely complex tequila with delicious aromas and a rich silky texture.

Blending & Aging

Our 2019 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is comprised of 95.2% Cabernet Sauvignon, 2.5% Cabernet Franc, 1.9% Merlot and 0.4% Petit Verdot. After blending in early 2020, our 2019 Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon was transferred to American oak barrels from our cooperage, The Oak, where it aged for 24 months. Blending before barrel aging—a signature of our winemaking style—allows blends to be based on the inherent qualities of their vineyard components before oak influence. Vintage to vintage, the resulting Cabernets emerge integrated and ready to drink upon release.

Vintage Description

The winter rains started in late December, and by the time the vines awoke from their slumber, the soil profile was recharged, the lakes and reservoirs had filled up again, and the vintage was off to a healthy start. Lower-than-average spring temperatures resulted in a slightly delayed budbreak, and we received a welcome and unexpected rain event just before bloom. It did not interfere with fruit set and prepared the vines for the warm summer conditions. In 2019, the challenge was in the vineyard—to stay on top of prolific plant growth and to thin some of the crop later in the season for optimal vine balance. Summer and fall temperatures averaged a balmy 85°F with only three brief heat events during fruit ripening that brought in the usual fog pattern that makes the Alexander Valley growing region so special. Harvest commenced on September 11 and proceeded at a busy-but-steady pace for five weeks to finish on October 18. Crops were generous, and the quality we saw in the fermentations augured another outstanding vintage with layers of complexity, great depth and elegant tannins.

Taconic distillery's home is the iconic Hudson Valley. Saturated with National Historic landmarks, the area boasts bountiful farms. With a fervor for the rustic outdoors and a strong desire to work the land, the Coughlin family purchased a portion Laured beef Farms, in Stanfordville, NY, in 2010. Renaming it Rolling Hills Farm. The former farm's 113 acres of rolling hills, became the inspiration for Taconic Distillery's entrance to Dutchess County's local agribusiness market.Inspired by a sporting lifestyle, Taconic's team share a love of the outdoors. Together they embrace hunting, fishing, and a general passion for the outdoor life. This lifestyle is imprinted upon all their products. This area is also the number one wine-producing region in the United States, and home to a world class culinary institute. Taconic prides itself on preserving a bourbon whiskey tradition: From George and Martha Washington's home during the American Revolution, to the Great Estates of the Vanderbilt's, Roosevelt's and Rockefeller's, to the hunting preserves and horse farms of today, bourbon whiskey has been savored for generations (Taconic Distillery). To maintain an unadulterated flavor of the whiskey, Taconic never chill filters, and distill their whiskeys below 160 proof to retain the flavors from the grains. It is the flavor of the grains that are transferred through the distilling process as fatty molecules or flavor oils which results in a cloudiness in the whiskey. Those flavors are transferred through the distilling process as fatty molecules (flavor oils). Some distillers will chill filter the fatty molecules and sacrifice a certain amount of flavor for clarity. Taconic uses distinct Coopers Select, Char #3 new oak barrels made by the Independent Stave Company. Their barrels have a unique maturation process; aged in shipping containers. Less is lost to the angel's share, due to the saturation of the air inside the containers. Being exposed to great temperature fluctuations, results in greater movement of spirit in and out of the barrel staves. Aging occurs in cycles, during times of increased temperature such as in the summer, the whiskey expands through the char, through to the untreated wood beneath. While in the wood, the whiskey dissolves various flavorful compounds. When temperatures drop, the liquid contracts and brings out all of the flavors of the wood, producing flavors that complement the body of the whiskey. Taconic's Straight Bourbon Whiskeyis bottled at a barrel strength 115 proof. Taconic adds a touch of our artisanal water to give the bourbon healthy dose of butteriness. At 57.5% ABV, it is bold and refreshing, with aromas of light vanilla kissed with hints of honey and caramel.

Incredibly concentrated, the 2016 Spring Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon is bold yet bright with a pronounced licorice finish. The intense violet hue lends well to a nose dominated by red fruit and spice. Pomegranate, sage, thyme, and rosemary blend seamlessly with a subtle mineral quality.

OUR STORY

Our story starts with our people. Big Stick is owned by Mike Ryan and Joe Baker. Mike is an engineer and inventor. His best friend, Joe, is a retired USMC Lieutenant Colonel of 21 years, and for the last 16 years was with the Navy in the Department of Defense. These friends of 40 years decided to follow through on a shared passion to create a world-class bourbon of their own called Big Stick.

Big Stick begins in the traditional bourbon making method. We source the finest ingredients and age them in charred New American White Oak to our exact specifications.

After experimenting with traditional mash bills and dozens of variations, we opted for a unique blend to offer an unmatched flavor profile.

Big Stick Bourbon is ultra-smooth because before bottling, we add a c­harred New American White Oak Stick into every bottle. The bourbon to stick in bottle ratio is 99.8% equivalent to that of bourbon in a 53-gallon barrel. Similar to a “Double Oaked” whiskey, this added step allows our bourbon to gracefully integrate with new oak for a second time.

This innovative process creates an exceptional and extremely smooth whiskey with rich, enhanced flavors. With no evaporation in bottle versus in barrel; we like to say, “We Make The Angels Thirsty!™” All Big Stick Bourbon is small batch.

Desert Door Texas Sotol was born in the West Texas desert, where our founders first encountered the Sotol plant. Hundreds of years ago, this spiky desert succulent was used by Indigenous tribes for everything from tools and food to fermented drink.

Wild Harvested

“Sotol” is both the name of our spirit and the plant we make it from. We wild-harvest all our sotol on ranches across Texas; we don’t farm or cultivate any of our sotol stock. Wild-harvesting is a much more sustainable practice than monocropping and helps conserve valuable resources such as land and water.

TASTING NOTES
While it’s not an agave spirit, our Desert Door Original is a lot like a premium tequila on the nose, with bright notes of vanilla and green grass. But here the similarities end. Tasting reveals flavors like toffee, mint, and orange zest. The finish is custard-smooth - smoother than tequila - with subtle hints of sage.

ADDITIONAL NOTES
Our Original is great for mixing in cocktails and can be substituted for clear spirits in most recipes. It can also be enjoyed neat or over an ice cube.

A MASTERFUL COMBINATION

Cosseted away in the finest, hand-selected oak casks and allowed to mature at its own sedate pace, this is one of the most remarkable, perfectly balanced single malt scotch whiskies of its kind.
