In 1865, Bartolomeo Vergnano took a keen interest in alchemy and knowledge of Italian botanicals to formulate artisan liqueurs following the Piedmont liqueur-making tradition. Today, after three generations, Valter Vergnano has the same enthusiasm and alchemist inclination.
