Magdala is a Mediterranean orange liqueur made by steeping orange peel in grape brandy that is carefully distilled in small batches at the Torres distillery in the Penedès (Barcelona). Ageing in old oak casks produces an aromatic elixir, silky in texture and exceptionally elegant. The recipe for this smooth, exquisite liqueur remains a well-kept secret to this day, closely guarded by our master distiller.

TASTING NOTES

Pale amber colour. Intense and complex aroma. Notes of orange blossom and bitter orange, as well as aromatic herbs. On the palate it has a silky texture, with citrus nuances that give it a persistent and elegant character.

Torres 10 is made by the distillation of Parellada, Xarelo and Macabeo white wines followed by aging in American oak casks using the traditional solera system.

Jaime I is a work of art, inspired by modernist art, which pays tribute to the founder of Bodegas Torres:
Don Jaime Torres.

Made entirely from the Parellada grape variety, it boasts exceptionally long ageing using the traditional solera method, which gives the brandy a vintage character. Jaime I is made by carefully mixing very old brandies, older than those used in the reserve brandies.

Fine dark mahogany colour. It is complex, majestic and balanced. With notes highly suggestive of vanilla,
walnut, flowers, plum, cedar and sandalwood.
