Jim Beam Double Oak Bourbon is uniquely aged twice in two separate charred oak barrels. It's first aged in charred American white oak barrels, and then we pour it into different freshly charred barrels to mature for a second time. The added interaction with the oak wood results in a bourbon that's intense in flavor, smooth in taste.

Following the end of the American Revolutionary War, Johannes Reginald Beam emigrated from Germany to the United States, and eventually settled in Kentucky County. At the time, Kentucky County was still considered part of Virginia, and was overseen by a military governor named John J. Bowman. In order to encourage westward expansion, Virginia issued pioneers who agreed to settle in Kentucky County corn writs, which granted the pioneers 60 acres of land if they agreed to settle in Kentucky and start farming corn. After settling in Kentucky, Beam began harvesting corn and set forth a family tradition by distilling the excess grains he harvested into whiskey. Since then, seven generations of the Beam family have been involved in whiskey production for the eponymous company (the company is actually named after James Beam, who rescued it following Prohibition). Today, Fred Noe a seventh generation master distiller and the great-grandson of Colonel James B. Beam shepherds his family legacy forward. Jim Beam Peach is the epitome of ripe and fresh peaches, combined with the world's finest Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey to create a perfect blend of sweet and woody notes of bourbon. We've had some bright ideas here in Clermont, but none quite like this. Jim Beam Orange brings together the bright, juicy flavor of oranges fresh from the orchard. This bourbon adheres to the requirements of the Bottled in Bond Act of 1897, which includes a minimum of four years aging and a bottling at 100 proof. Jim Beam Bonded was originally created for bartenders as a superior mixing whiskey with fuller body and flavor. We add less water to this bourbon, so it's closer to barrel strength, resulting in an enhanced flavor that stands up to the most complex cocktails.

We use a proprietary process that extracts the rich bourbon trapped inside the barrel wood. Our premium 86-proof, extra-aged bourbon ages years longer in white oak barrels than original Jim Beam.
