With over 20 years of experience using traditional and revolutionary barrel aging techniques and harvesting only the finest 100% Highland Blue Weber agave, we have achieved what we know are the world's top tequilas. AsomBroso La Rosa is 100% blue agave tequila and distilled and filtered multiple times. After the final filtration the resultant tequila spirit is then "rested" for 3 months in ex-Bordeaux red wine barrels. Its beauty sleep in the Bordeaux barrels gives the reposado its signature pink hue .

Maker Notes

We use only the finest Blue Weber agave, grown in rich volcanic soil of Jalisco and tended to by skilled agave farmers. Our tequila undergoes a unique 9 month aging process, that starts with the barrel staves being coated with the sweetness of cooked agave that has been caramelized into the wood of our "11 Year-Vintage" barrels. Using estate-grown piñas the tequila is then added to the barrels, which are gently rolled to enhance the natural oak and agave flavors. After resting for 9 months, the result is our reposado tequila, Eros: a sweet, flavorful spirit with a light amber hue, ideal for sipping, on the rocks, or in cocktails.

DECANTER

Housed in a ceramic decanter with a ceramic and chrome top.

Master Distiller Ricardo Gamarra managed the complete creation method of  Eros. Presenting a matured and bolder expression with an extensive finish of French Oak, exotic spices, and a true agave sweetness that will make you crave another sip.  Kosher Certified.

We were honored to have our El Platino awarded "Top Tequila" by the San Francisco World Spirits Competition back to back years.

Crafted from specially-selected 100% blue agave, our "Silver" is the foundation for all we produce. Through a proprietary process of multiple distillations and filtration we have found the perfect balance in preserving taste while eliminating the harsh finish present in many other tequilas. AsomBroso El Platino is a sophisticated tequila perfect for sipping straight or mixing.

TASTING NOTES

The nose emits zesty scents of fennel, anise and dried herbs; aeration brings out elements of chocolate, agave, olive and rye bread. Palate entry is peppery and sharp, followed by mid-palate flavors of sweet pepper and ripe agave; concluding toasty and mellow.

First of its kind, El Carbonzado is a testament to  legendary taste, superior smoothness, and handmade traditional craft. Using 100% premium Blue Weber Agave, we age our blanco tequila in new French oak barrels, enriching this tequila with notes of vanilla, caramel, toffee and oak, while clarifying this juice to a succulent smooth finish.

We then do the unthinkable and double barrel rest this liquid gold in premium medium char american oak casks previously used to house one of the worlds highest rated Irish Whiskies.

The results from this whisky barrel adds a beautiful bounty of sweet cream, herb and spice, while enhancing a subtle smoky and savory oak. The taste is smooth, yet unbelievably unique pleasing both tequila and whisky drinkers alike. 

Taste Profile

With its rich dark brown color, El Carbonzado has taken the tequila world to the cognac/Armagnac status of the spirits spectrum. Palate entry has a deep smoky taste, mid-palate brings out intense caramel – vanilla flavors, with a smooth silky finish.

Maker Notes

To become our Gran Reserva,  our 100% blue agave Silver is aged in new French oak barrels. This gives our premium extra añejo a full-bodied taste that critics have compared to an aged cognac or Armagnac. To fully appreciate the experience, we recommend serving Gran Reserva in a snifter rather than a shot glass.

TASTING NOTES

At first, you are pleasantly surprised by the sweet, delicate, honey-like opening nose; the honey component expands to include vanilla, buttercream and toffee, yielding to a smooth caramel finish.

Beginning with our award-winning 100% Highland Blue Weber Agave El Platino Blanco, we age this deliciously delicate and sweet tequila in fine-crafted French oak barrels previously used to host one of the world's most famous French Cognacs, Grand Marnier. We await an entire decade for the aging process to take hold, measuring the content religiously month by month, to ensure the essence of both the mild oak and buttery orange blossom notes take hold of the tequila. 

DECANTER: Each bottle is painted a beautiful vibrant red with gold insignia.

TASTING NOTES

This tequila yields notes of buttercream, toffee, caramel, and vanilla up front with a deliciously smooth oaky, and cocoa mid-pallet, followed by a timid and gratifying orange blossom, roasted nuts, and sweet agave finish.
