The process behind this bourbon is that each year generations of the Henderson family, the founders of Angel's Envy, select what's described as a handful of truly remarkable barrels of the base Whiskey from their rick house that are put through a lengthy finishing process in Portuguese port wine casks.

Nose: Honey on a biscuit; vanilla extract; brown banana; Bing Cherries; caramelized figs.

Palate: The port finishing is evident, with dark chocolate and plum on top of the traditional bourbon flavors. Toffee. Butterscotch. Cinnamon. Sweet undertones.

Finish: Finish is long and smooth.

Louisville Distilling started as a three-generation family affair. Lincoln Henderson was an experienced industry insider, with nearly forty years of experience at Brown-Forman as a master distiller and research fellow.
